Ìý Frozen embryos - donation or adoption? 04ÌýDecember 2003 Ìý
How do you make the agonising decision to give away your frozen embryos to another childless couple, knowing that somewhere your children may exist, but will belong to someone else.

Should we allow donors to hand over their embryos in open adoption style arrangements that give genetic parents the right to retain contact?

Cheryl Armitage talks to one couple who are lobbying for a change in the law which would allow them to offer their frozen embryos for adoption, rather than donation.

To discuss this issue, Jenni talks to Lord Robert Winston, John Harris Director of Centre for Ethics at Manchester University and Marilyn Crawshaw from Progar.
