Much has been made recently of girls outperforming boys in school exams.

Whilst attention has been focussed on boys falling behind girls in GCSE results, a huge disparity in girls' achievement has been overlooked. Over half of Bangladeshi and 40 per cent of Pakistani girls leave school without any qualifications.
Anna Egan speaks with Bangladeshi girls at George Green School in the Isle of Dogs about their expectations.
Mandana Hendessi, Women's Rights Consultant, and Baroness Uddin, Labour Peer, join Jenni in the studio to look at the causes of this disparity and discuss what can be done to improve the educational opportunities of these young Bangladeshi & Pakistani women...
