Ìý Do Lesbians Really Want to Marry? Thursday 17 July 2003 Ìý
Gay partnership rights in Britain are now law and so is the right to wed in Canada - but do lesbians really want to get married even if they could?

Novelist Stephanie Theobold says no way, it's an old fashioned sexist institution she wants nothing to do with. Dr Sigrid Rutishauer-James has been married in all but name to her female partner of over thirty years and says, given the chance she would have a church wedding.
Stephanie Theobold, Sigrid Rutishauer-James and Sasha Roseneil join Jenni to discuss.
