With so much information being passed on to school kids, there are worries that children are simply regurgitating information and not thinking for themselves.
Educationalists have come up with the idea of 'thinking lessons'. These are now taking place in some primary schools to try to combat this problem.
Jenni talks to Anne Robertson, the creator of thinking lessons, and Professor of Education, Charles Desforges to discuss their worthiness.
