Your responses to our item on bullying
Earlier this week we spoke toÌý a lecturer in Child Development at the Open University who believes that being bullied can "help children grow up". Helena Guldberg’s theory is that children will benefit from learning to deal themselves with boisterous banter and the rough and tumble of the playground. She believes that teachers and parents intervene too readily, depriving children of the opportunity to acquire some useful life skills. The discussion provoked a deluge of emails from listeners many who were bullied as children. We hear your responses to the item.
