Is the law making their lives more difficult?

Last week, three Malaysian women were caned in a prison just outside Kuala Lumpur for having extra-marital sex. They are the first Malay women to receive such a sentence and their punishment is causing concern that an increasingly hardline approach is being adopted towards female freedom in the country. Jonathan Kent, the Â鶹ԼÅÄ’s former Malaysia correspondent, joins Jenni to talk about the recent case and about life for Malaysian women.
