Prostitution in South Africa 15 Oct 2009
Calls to legalise prostitution during the 2010 Football World Cup.

South Africa will host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the first time football’s treasured prize will be played in Africa. The country's tourism industry is expected to benefit from the estimated 3 million visitors, however there are concerns about the spread of HIV infection and calls are growing for South Africa to legalise prostitution, at least during the month long event. It is estimated that 50% of the country's sex workers are infected with HIV. Jenni is joined by Â鶹ԼÅÄ Reporter Mpho Lakaje in Johannesburg.
