The stress of leaving home and going to university
Hundreds of thousands of young people are preparing to start University over the next few weeks. For many of them it'sÌýthe first time they have ever been away from home - and for some the pressure will prove overwhelming. A website aimed at helping students who develop depression has recruited 12 young people to share their stories on a Blog Ring, so others can read it and see they are not on their own. The blog is due to go live early next month. Jane talks to Daniel who took part in last year's blog, and to Ann Heyno who helps to run it.
