The women working in President Jacob Zuma’s new government

South Africa’s new President Jacob Zuma was sworn in on Saturday and named his cabinet on Sunday, following his African National Congress party’s convincing electoral win. Accepting the presidential nomination, Jacob Zuma promised to: “lead the country towards the realisation of former president Nelson Mandela’s dream of a non-sexist and non-racial South Africa.” The 鶹Լ’s Victoria Phenethi, in Johannesburg, tells Jane what is expected from the women chosen to lead in the country’s new government.
