The 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra, Chorus and Singers are joined by Grammy Award-winning American soprano Angel Blue and one of Britain鈥檚 best-loved pianists, Sir Stephen Hough, for the biggest musical party of the year.

Celebrating 100 years since its formation, the 麻豆约拍 Singers performs a selection of a cappella masterpieces including Tavener鈥檚 Song for Athene and Britten鈥檚 A Shepherd鈥檚 Carol, led by Chief Conductor Sofi Jeannin.

Aurora Orchestra and Nicholas Collon mark the 200th anniversary of Beethoven鈥檚 monumental Ninth Symphony by bringing their unique Orchestral Theatre approach to the iconic work with the help of the 麻豆约拍 Singers and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain

In her First Night of the Proms debut, conductor Elim Chan presents Beethoven鈥檚 iconic Fifth Symphony alongside Handel鈥檚 Music for the Royal Fireworks and Clara Schumann鈥檚 tender Piano Concerto, featuring star soloist Isata Kanneh-Mason.
