The 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra remembers Sir Andrew Davis (1944鈥�2024) in this Prom presenting the UK premiere of Steve Reich鈥檚 Jacob鈥檚 Ladder and a pair of pieces close to Sir Andrew鈥檚 heart

The 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor Dalia Stasevska perform a remarkable work by Julius Eastman alongside Sibelius鈥檚 triumphant Fifth Symphony and Gustav Mahler鈥檚 songs of love and loneliness, sung by the inimitable Jamie Barton

Yunchan Lim makes his Proms debut with the 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra under Paavo J盲rvi, performing Beethoven鈥檚 final piano concerto, the 鈥楨mperor鈥�. Bookending the Prom are Bruckner鈥檚 First Symphony and Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tu虉u虉r鈥檚 Aditus
