Nigerian gospel superstar Sinach talks about her new book, I Know Who I Am, and performs three of her most popular songs: Final Word, I Know Who I Am, and A Million Tongues.
Sinach is a gospel superstar. She attracts crowds of thousands when she performs, whether it’s at home in Nigeria, in the US, in India or any of the many other countries she’s toured in.
Her most famous song, Waymaker, has become an anthem worldwide, and won many awards. It’s notched up more than 200 million views on Youtube, numbers that only the likes of Davido and Burna Boy have been able to achieve. Waymaker has also been translated into over 50 languages and covered by many other artists. In 2020, during the pandemic, it was the most played song in US churches and topped the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart, the first time an African artist has achieved this.
