Azawi is a talented songwriter from Uganda, whose solo career is taking off with hits like Slow Dancing and Ache for You. She鈥檚 written for countrymen Eddie Kenzo and Vinca, been signed by the Swangz Avenue label, and her face was emblazoned on a Times Square billboard in New York, because she was chosen by YouTube as one of their Black Voices Class of 2022.

Museba describes her music as Afropop and Afrohouse, and says it is highly influenced by her rich cultural heritage. As well as having family roots in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo, she grew up in Cote d鈥橧voire, and has spent time in Nigeria learning about the music business, and in fact, business in general. Her dream is that one day she鈥檒l be able to give up the side hustles and focus on her music completely.
