Sun-El Musician is a DJ, songwriter and producer from the KwaZulu-Natal highlands of South Africa. Although he grew up in a rural setting, a love of computers and technology has seen this self-confessed geek develop a lush electro style backed by big beats and soaring vocals. Along with fellow countryman and former TIA guest Black Coffee, he鈥檚 part of a growing dance scene in his homeland.

In this week鈥檚 show, Sun-El tells DJ Edu all about his new album, To the World and Beyond, a sprawling musical opus containing 31 tracks and 26 different collaborations spread over more than three hours. He also explains why he finds it tough being a perfectionist, how the pandemic has hit him in a very personal way and why a formative experience involving Daft Punk and a bathtub helped him develop a love for keeping it simple.

DJ Edu will also have this week鈥檚 10-in-10 mix featuring some of the hottest new tracks from across the Motherland.
