Busiswa
South African house music star Busiswa talks to DJ Edu about relationships, and why it takes longer for girls to get the confidence to make it in music.
Busiswa is a powerhouse of the South African house music scene. Her vocals have graced some of the biggest hits, and she has collaborated with the most respected DJs. She was also one of the African artists to feature on Beyonce’s Lion King album.
This week she drops her third album. It’s called My Side of the Story, and, coinciding with the release, Busiswa has revealed that she has been a victim of domestic abuse.
In this programme she talks to DJ Edu about relationships, setting up her own label with a focus on women, and why it takes longer for girls to get the confidence to make it in music.
