The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw its largest one-day point gain in history. We get reaction to to the day on Wall Street from Susan Schmidt of Aviva Investors in Chicago. Also in the programme, Japan has announced that it is withdrawing from the International Whaling Commission, in order to resume commercial whale hunting. We assess why this is controversial, as a ban on commercial whaling was imposed in 1986. We seek to see if confidence has been restored in Cyprus, five years after a banking crisis that led to a $10bn bailout by some of the world's biggest financial institutions - the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Ivana Davidovic reports.
