Japan has announced that it is withdrawing from the International Whaling Commission, in order to resume commercial whale hunting. We assess why this is controversial, as a ban on commercial whaling was imposed in 1986. We seek to see if confidence has been restored in Cyprus, five years after a banking crisis that led to a $10bn bailout by some of the world's biggest financial institutions - the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Ivana Davidovic reports.
