Headstrong and wholesome, Vicky's beauty is admired across the county - almost as far as Kings Lynn. She's a community woman, town-crying the news to the good folk of Shavingham and working desperately to save the seals she loves so dearly.

Devoted to her father and beloved of the locals, 's arrival sends her soul into a spin... But will she allow his rugged exoticism to intoxicate her steady mind? Vicky is a fine student of hairdressing, a resolute animal rights activist and a black-belt in karate.

Lara trained at Webber Douglas and has been performing with Barbershopera since the first production in 2008.

For her performance in the stage version of The Barber of Shavingham, Lara won the Best Actress award at the International Musicals Festival in South Korea.

Though singing is a particular passion, Lara has also worked in many non-musical productions, including at the Liverpool Everyman, the Duke's Theatre Lancaster, the Arcola, the Grand Theatre Luxembourg and most recently the West Yorkshire Playhouse where she played Watson and Crick’s rival Rosalind Franklin in In the Image of You; a play unraveling the race to discover the double helix.

In 2013 Lara will be filming British feature film Meet Me on the Southbank.
