Billy Differ
Billy Differ presents Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland's musical theatre show
Having part-qualified as an accountant, Billy realised that an involvement in the world of show-business beckoned and moved to the Ticket Centre in Glasgow which was being computerised in those very early days of computers. He worked in publicity, production and theatre management at the King's and Mitchell Theatres where he was involved with the UK's showbiz community some of whom became lifelong friends. In 1995 he started working for Cameron Mackintosh on shows including "Cats", "Phantom Of The Opera" and "Les Miz".
His current job allows him time to get involved in charitable causes including producing the charity gala of FOLLIES for the 50th anniversary of NCH in Scotland. He is a Trustee of the Hilton In the Community Foundation and also a Member of the Council of the Scottish Show-Business Benevolent Fund. These connections have been very handy for his Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland show Dress Circle which he hopes people love even a wee bit as much as he loves presenting it.
