Impressionist Jon Culshaw is dancing for Comic Relief!
Jon Culshaw is regarded as one of the best impressionists in the UK with an estimated catalogue of 350 impressions.
He rose to fame in 1998 whilst working for London’s Capital Radio when he succeeded in getting through to Tony Blair at Downing Street, while impersonating then opposition leader William Hague! The wind-up made headlines in the international press and was even reported in Parliamentary transcript, Hansard.
Jon continued to provide impressions for wind-up phone calls heard on Capital FM’s Steve Penk Show and he was also a regular guest on Radio 1’s Chris Moyles Show.
On TV Jon has appeared inΒ , 2DTV, The Impressionable Jon Culshaw, Jon Culshaw's Commercial Breakdown, and Alter Ego which saw Jon interviewing celebrities in their own style of speaking.
His most famous impressions are of Tony Blair, Obi-Wan Kenobi (in the Alec Guinness persona), Russell Crowe, George W. Bush, Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Connolly.
In 2013, Jon fronted a cancer awareness campaign for spoofing racing pundit John McCririck.
Jon was previously one of the judges for the final of 2010.
