In 1967 Phil won the Eurovision Song Contest as co-writer of Sandie Shaw’s Puppet On A String
Derry-born Phil Coulter is a record producer, composer and performer and has 23 platinum, 39 gold and 52 silver discs among his collection.Β For City of Culture 2013, Phil specially penned a new anthem called A Bright Brand New Day. He performed it for the first time at theΒ at Ebrington Pavilion in Derry/Londonderry.
