Brothers of Dance are a newly formed group by choreographer Dane Bates. Although the boys are from different areas around the UK, each of the boys have their own individual personalities and a mutual love of dance.

Oliver is the baby of the group, Matthew is the super laid back one, Brad is the shy one, Sam is the super helpful one, Ebby is the funny one and Nat is the diva. Bates says he selected them because they are all incredible dancers. He adds "The first rehearsal was great, the boys have a unique connection that creates such powerful performances."

Within their routines there are lots of dangerous lifts and moves. Nat, the member who always gets lifted, says “Being a boy I have never been lifted before, I was usually the one lifting a girl, so it is totally new to me. At first, I was so scared, I thought I was going to get dropped, I nearly have been a few times.”

The Greatest Dancer audition was the boys first ever public performance. “Although it was our first audition we felt really ready. The rehearsals went well, and we were confident that our passion for dance would shine through,” Sam says.

Within the groups there are a range of disciplines, these include ballet, jazz, contemporary, commercial and acro.
