Keeley Donovan

Keeley Donovan is a northern girl through and through. She was born and raised in Grimsby and now lives in Yorkshire.

She started her broadcast career at just 14 years old, when she began presenting for a cable TV station in her hometown of Grimsby. After finishing her studies at The Humberston School, Keeley went on to study media at college and university while continuing to present on a freelance basis.

After graduating from Leicester De Montfort, Keeley returned to Grimsby to complete a post graduate course in Journalism.

Keeley has worked for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ since 2005 and is already a familiar face to audiences across Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire as one of the region’s main weather presenters.

Having long had an interest in the weather Keeley was overjoyed when a position was advertised to join the Yorkshire weather team. She has since spent time studying with the Met Office, at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Weather Centre and has also completed further studies in Meteorology with the Open University.

Keeley also presents news bulletins along with regularly reporting for the region's current affairs programme Inside Out.

Outside of work she loves to travel and spend time outdoors. This year she learnt to snowboard. She enjoys live music and has become a regular at the Glastonbury Festival. She is also a crazy cat lady (she has a cat called Alan) and has an impressive Twitter following.

Keeley also keeps an eye on the local football results as the sport is in her DNA. Her late Irish Grandad, Don, played for Grimsby Town and Everton for 15 years he represented the Republic of Ireland, and managed Boston United and her dad, Terry Donovan, was also an Irish International player and European Cup winner. Among the teams he played for were Grimsby Town and Aston Villa.
