Reuel Elijah is undoubtedly one of the rising stars from the city. He’s only 19 but has already paid his dues as an entertainer as part of the world famous street dance crew ‘Jukebox’, appearing on TV shows like The Slammer, Children In Need and Got To Dance.
That desire to perform and transport an audience is very much a part of his music, too. An early YouTube cover of Drake’s ‘Girls Love Beyonce’ picked up thousands of views within days, and Drake’s sophisticated and melodic R&B is very much a touchstone for Reuel’s own music.
He has performed on stages as varied as the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Horizons stage at Cardiff’s X Festival and supporting Stormzy in Ayia Napa, Greece.
Reuel Elijah’s ambitions are as far-reaching as his music is polished and accessible. A young man with a very bright future indeed.
