A venerable resistant of London Below, the elderly Earl resides in the carriage of a tube train, a carriage which bears an uncanny resemblance to a medieval court.
Surrounded by the equally aging entourage of his jester Tooley (Andrew Sachs), and his men at arms and attendants, the Earl is a long-standing ally of Door’s father, Lord Portico, assisting her with some vital information as to how to reach the dwelling of the Angel Islington.
