Tim and Darryl
Tim 'The Punaway Train' Vine
Tim Vine is a stand-up comedian and actor who is best known for his role on '’ and for his stand-up one-liners.
Tim came second in last year’s Let’s Play Darts tournament. He and partner Darryl ‘The Dazzler’ Fitton lost out in the final to Lee Mack and ‘Wolfie’ Adams 8-5. This year Tim is hoping to take the trophy home and is delighted to have been invited back.
He is a very keen darts fan and growing up, wished he could be a professional darts player and admits it’s a dream he has never let go of.
Tim says he has an unorthodox darts technique, which is a bit like he is trying to whip a camel. His signature move is ‘The Swan’, where he dips his hand forward, lifts it up and then throws the dart.
Tim is really nervous about the pressure on him to win this series, as he thinks he’ll be coming in as the favourite.
