Gardening is a family affair for Sally and Michelle, which isn't surprising considering that Michelle's parter of 27 years is Sally's brother! They聽each have their own allotment聽plots alongside many other family members including cousins, parents and siblings.

Michelle doesn鈥檛 see any reason why her allotment needs to be 鈥榖oring like a normal one', so she's decorated her shed, complete聽with cupcake theme, pink sofas and scented candles. She is often to be found there in her heels and would never be seen without her fake nails, though she鈥檚 not afraid to get them dirty and often finds a bit of soil under them! Sally maintains that she works much harder than Michelle on the allotments as Michelle is too easily distracted by doing her nails. Despite this, Sally admits that Michelle is a great gardener but she's still the best cook of the pair!

Michelle and Sally聽think that their gardening skills are聽commonly underestimated because of their appearance and聽plan to play on their blonde ditzy Essex girl personas to lull their fellow competitors into a false sense of security. However, Michelle assures us this is all a front and that they are competent gardeners and are here to win the competition.
