Sam says:

"Since I got into photography at the age of 17 I have always been looking for new and original ways to capture natural history subjects.

Time-lapse’s ability to show hours of time in seconds has so much potential to reveal secrets from the natural world. How clouds pass through a mountain valley or how wood ants devour a dead mouse. It shows us things that are impossible to see with the naked eye.

I got into time-lapse by experimentation and constantly trying to learn new things. Once I mastered the basics, then its just a matter of finding subject matter then trying to perfect the final shot.

Britain is a great location for time-lapse, with some great plant and animal species to work with and not to mention some great thunder storms!"
