Shereen Nanjiani
Shereen presents the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland Sunday morning guest panel show
Shereen is one of the best known faces of Scottish broadcasting.
As presenter of STV's main evening news programme, 'Scotland Today' for 22 years, she became the station's most popular presenter, reporting on major stories from Lockerbie to Dunblane.
She now presents her own news and current affairs programme, Shereen, on Sunday mornings in which she and a lively panel of commentators give their take on the top stories, and Shereen talks to someone who's been making the headlines.
During that time she also produced and presented a number of special reports from the world's trouble spots: the plight of the AIDS orphans in Romania, the first multi-racial elections in South Africa, the Afghan refugee camps post 9/11, and the famine and Make Poverty History campaign in Africa.
In addition to 'Scotland Today' Shereen has presented many other programmes for STV including the documentary series 'Secret Scotland', the religious series 'Eikon' and a number of live debates and election programmes. She has also hosted the prestigious 'Scottish Politician of the Year Awards' for the past six years.
In 2006 she began working for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland presenting 'Scotland Live', a news and current affairs magazine programme.
She has also written a number of articles for Scottish newspapers.
