With Christmas just 12 days away, shoppers are being warned to stay extra vigilant against those selling counterfeit - and potentially dangerous - gifts. With almost one in three of us having purchased them, former detective Rebecca Mason teams up with trading standards to reveal why these fake products aren’t just dodgy - they’re dangerous. Rebecca reveals some of the most commonly counterfeited items, from GHD straighteners and cosmetics to Lego, showing just how convincing fakes can be. She highlights the dangers and shares essential tips on how to vet sellers, and why paying attention to details like damaged packaging, spelling and grammar could save you from a risky purchase.
