Christmas is coming and the drains are full of fat as 25% more is poured down our drains over the festive period, with 15 million cups of turkey fat being poured down household drains on December 25th alone – equivalent to an Olympic Swimming Pool. The grease mixed with baby wipes can cause monster ‘fatbergs’ that block the sewers. We find out how a fancy soap on the rope could see the end of them once and for all.
