Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley.
On a breezy day in the allotment Terry assesses his crops as autumn creeps in. The wall of beans are starting to slow but the pumpkins are thriving in preparation for their big moment next month.
It's time to do some maintenance under the brassica net and remove some of the yellow leaves from the sprouts in order for the plants to focus on producing more vegetables. The bamboo sticks from the sweet peas have dried out and are ready to store in the greenhouse ready for next season. The peppers and tomatoes are still thriving inside the greenhouse, Terry's hoping for some more sunshine and heat to ripen them before the season ends.
