Is it acceptable to bring partners to meet ups with your best friends?

Writer Kate Lister joined Nuala McGovern on Woman鈥檚 Hour to discuss this after she wrote an article for the i paper which said: 鈥淚 firmly believe that anyone who turns up to a girls鈥� lunch with their husband in tow should be arrested, immediately鈥�.

Kate explained to Nuala that if someone brings a partner with them, it completely changes the dynamic and she feels she can鈥檛 be herself properly.
