E-scooters have been causing havoc in towns and cities, not only creating an eyesore but on several occasions causing injuries to members of the public. Now, several Police Forces are cracking down on the illegal use of them. Only if a local council is running an e-scooter trial scheme can the vehicles be used on public roads, otherwise it is breaking the law.
