Nottingham Forest football fans talk about attending the 1989 FA Cup semi-final in Hillsborough stadium, where 97 Liverpool fans died.

None of the 28,000 Forest fans in attendance died at Hillsborough but for many, the disaster played out in front of them and they remained silent witnesses. Until now.

It follows a compassionate social media message from a rival Liverpool supporter which went on to unlock decades of unspoken pain.
