Mollie King on why she’s swapping her mic for a bike for Comic Relief

The Radio 1 presenter and singer Mollie King is swapping her mic for a bike as she prepares for the biggest endurance challenge of her life - Pedal Power for Red Nose Day.

Mollie is taking to the saddle for five days as she attempts to cycle 500km from London to Hull for Comic Relief.

Speaking on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, she told Anita Rani why she wanted to take on the challenge after losing her dad, and how she’s training - having never cycled on a road before!

Mollie also shared how training has helped her navigate the extreme highs and lows of the past year, after giving birth to her daughter, Annabella, just 10 days before her father’s death.

Listen back to the full interview on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sounds – it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 8 March.
