20. March in the Greenhouse
Down to earth gardening advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with Terry Walton
Down to earth gardening advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley.
Terry leads a tour of his greenhouse production line on another windy March day. He has advice on starting your crops off early under glass, making a start on peas, beetroot, carrots, and spring onions. Even the compost is indoors at the moment to warm it up ready for planting out.
He also gets ahead with growing flowers ready to encourage the bees and help the vegetable crops along.
