Onions 3-ways with cook Briony May Williams
Onions are one of the most grown crops in the UK, after potatoes and carrots, making them one of the most accessible vegetables - and they're available all year round. They come in at an average of Β£1 per kilogram, making them three times cheaper than tomatoes or peppers, and are rich in anti-oxidants.
Cook Briony May Williams shows you three ways to enjoy them. She's making a French onion soup, a caramelised onion dip and a version of the onion burger that has 134.8 MILLION views online - where they replace the bun with fried onions. She also explains how a wet paper towel or chucking your onion in the freezer for a few minutes could stop them making you cry.
