Nicole Scherzinger: 'It was very unhealthy how hard we were working'

Nicole Scherzinger joined Anita Rani in the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 4's Woman's Hour studio. She said that there have been times in her career that she felt as though she’d been discarded or dismissed, particularly after The Pussycat Dolls passed the height of their success.

She says they were working so hard that they weren’t able to fully enjoy it at the time, and that they didn’t realise they wouldn’t always have that success as a group.

Nicole also spoke about the demanding schedule and pressure they faced, but said that she’s grateful for it as it made her who she is today.

She’s currently taking to the West End stage as Norma Desmond in a new production of Sunset Boulevard.

You can listen to the full interview on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sounds - it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 29th September.
