New evidence arrives at The Firm, and Aamer takes on the case of a man who died in hospital under unexplained circumstances.
Evidence from Britain’s most deadly terror attack, in which 270 people died, arrives at The Firm. Aamer weighs the possibility of a new appeal into the Lockerbie bombing and whether the man long-held responsible was wrongly convicted.
Meanwhile, another case is presented to Aamer and his team as the grieving family of Joseph Sneddon appeal to The Firm for help seeking answers to the questions that surround the death of their relative. In the throes of a mental health crisis, Joseph, who was in hospital at the time, came into contact with the police and died after hours of restraint. Now, his family wants to know how and why Joseph died, and why police officers were involved. It’s up to Aamer and the team to bring this case to the media’s attention and to garner vital information from Scotland’s most senior law officer, the Lord Advocate.
