Sheku Bayoh was involved in a confrontation with police in May 2015. He was restrained by several officers, who used pepper spray, batons and handcuffs. Shortly thereafter he became unresponsive and was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In the days, weeks and years following Sheku鈥檚 death, his family have never been satisfied with the police鈥檚 account of what happened. Now it鈥檚 up to Aamer Anwar and his team to uncover the truth and to guide Sheku鈥檚 family on their path to justice. Why did Sheku die, and what part did race play in his death?
