Could Lucy Letby have been stopped sooner?
On the neo-natal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital, there were typically up to three deaths a year. But in 2015, they had that number in June alone.
Suspicion around nurse Letby began to steadily build. Dr Stephen Brearey was the lead consultant on the unit where she worked and raised concerns.
