Mother and daughter duo Andi and Miquita Oliver joined Hayley Hassall in the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 4's Woman's Hour studio on Friday and shared their thoughts on their unconventional family, food, and their new podcast, Stirring It Up.

In the podcast, the pair have guests around for dinner at Andi’s kitchen table, somewhere that Miquita says was how her family grew: Around a table, with her mum’s chicken (Andi is also a professional chef).

In the interview, Andi reflected on raising Miquita as a single parent and the idea of family: ‘Family to me are the people that you love, the people that you can call at five in the morning and say ‘help’ and they’re there’
