'We'd hate for this to happen again'
People in Barrow and the surrounding villages are still reeling from the news a teenage boy died after being rescued from the River Soar this weekend.
Three other teenage boys were saved from the river, but the year eight pupil was pronounced dead after the rescue on Saturday evening.
Tributes have been left near the scene and hundreds of pounds raised to help towards the cost of the funeral.
Dean Pidcock is from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and was on the scene on Saturday.
