Peter changed his life at 45 by learning to read and write
Learning to read and write is difficult as we grow up, but for 45 year old Peter Lloyd, learning as an adult is even harder.
Read Easy is a national organisation founded by Ginny Williams-Ellis, a literacy tutor at Dorchester Prison. She became aware of the number of adults who struggle with even the most basic level of reading, not just in prisons, but in society.
There are now Read Easy groups across England, including one here in Merseyside, offering one-to-one learning.
