Women represent more than half of the country鈥檚 population at 50.5%. They also comprise a majority of all Gambian registered voters but despite this, the political space is still largely dominated by Men. Dr. Isatou Touray was Gambia鈥檚 first Female presidential candidate. She talks about her journey in the political space and why more women in the country need to participate in politics.
