Mike Leigh reflects on developing his craft at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
British filmmaker Mike Leigh is known for bringing realism to the big screen through his unique improvisational approach to creating his screenplays. It’s a craft which he credits to his years at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, directing for the Plays for Today series in the 1970s. As part of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 100 centenary celebrations, the seven time Oscar nominee speaks to Tom Brook about what the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ means to him.
