One of the expected highlights at this month's Cannes Film Festival will be the arrival of Hollywood star Tom Cruise on the French Riviera to unveil Top Gun: Maverick – the long-awaited sequel to the 1986 film. Thirty-six years ago, Talking Movies' Tom Brook interviewed Cruise at the launch of the first Top Gun film. Ahead of the franchise's return later this month, he dips into the Â鶹ԼÅÄ archives to share the actor's vision for the film back when it all began.
