A surprise Battle between Iris, Axew, Cilan and Pansage reveals the story of a promise made not so long ago…
We join our heroes just in time to witness an unusual sight – a Battle talking place between Cilan, Pansage, Iris and Axew! It turns out that Iris has asked Cilan to help Axew learn how to battle. Later on, Iris goes on to explain that Axew was given to her by an Elder back in her hometown, with the request that she raise Axew - while learning its heart. The Elder also explained to Iris, that knowing a Pokémon’s heart is the key to her own growth.
