'Let's hope I don't get to the same size as him'

A police officer has followed in the footsteps of one of Leicester's most famous policemen.

After more than 100 years, Dan Challis has been given the same collar number, number 83, which was also worn by his great-great-great grandfather, PC John β€˜Tubby’ Stephens, so named because he weighed 25 stone.
